The East Asian Languages and Literatures Student Advisory Committee serves as an important line of communication between the department faculty and students interested in and concerned with the department, its courses, and activities. In recent years the committee has discussed the Chinese and Japanese majors, course offerings (actual and potential), and especially the language programs in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. The Director of Undergraduate Studies chairs the committee. The membership of the committee is open to all members of the Yale community.
