Fu-ming Lee

Born and raised in Taiwan, Fu-ming Lee got her BA in Chinese Literature from National Taiwan University in 2004, with a minor degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures.  In 2007, she turned her interest to religious studies and went to Catholic University of Louvain (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven) in Belgium, where she got a master’s degree in Theology and Religious Studies in 2009.  After two years of assistant work in the Graduate Institute of Taiwan Literature at National Taiwan University, Fu-ming started her PhD at Yale in 2011. Her dissertation project is about emotion in early twentieth-century Chinese literature, focusing on the effect of language reform on the emotion percepts.
