The Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures is delighted to hear that a book by our colleague, Professor Jing Tsu, Kingdom of Characters: The Language Revolution That Made China Modern, was one of the finalists for the Pulitzer Price for General Nonfiction. All of us want to congratulate Professor Tsu on this great honor.
