Adam Silverman

Adam Silverman received his B.A. in Film and Media Studies from Yale College and his M.A. in East Asian Area Studies from the University of Southern California where he focused on Japanese regional cinema with a thesis project on depictions of Hokkaido in post-war film. His current research continues his work on representations of marginal peoples and places in Japanese media and visual culture.
